[Mathew 16:24] Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

After Adam and Eves physical death (the death of their bodies), their souls and the souls of their descendants were still “imprisoned” by the consequences of their propateric SIN that was ~the eternal separation of man from God~ that prevented them eternally from ever returning to the presence of God. The devil had the authority and the joy on mankind to know that he had the power to prevent even those who were righteous during their earthly lives like Moses and the Prophets from ever returning to God after death. This injustice upon the righteous was pointed out by Paul in (Romans 5.14) “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come”. In (Timothy 1:15) we are then informed of our Lords mission. [1 Timothy 1:15] “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners;”

Lord Jesus (the Logos of the Father) took upon Himself the flesh and blood of man likewise, in order, he might destroy the devil through abolishing the spiritual death that in essence was the eternal separation of man from God for the entire human race. (Hebrews 2.14) “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil”; This is why, His entire life on earth was spent sinless. (1 Peter 2:22) “Who did no sin, neither was guilt found in his mouth” He never gave the devil even the smallest legal right to gain the consequences of SIN upon Him. Lord Jesus could have come down from the cross at any given moment in order to physically defeat His enemies. (Mathew 26.53) “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels”? He could have defeated His enemies with only a glance; however, this type of action would have been in disobedience of His Fathers greatest of commandments. (Mark 12:33) “And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices”. To physically defeat His enemies was going to be an act that was to make Him a mortal leader of the strong on Earth and not a Spiritual leader of the Holy in His Heavenly Kingdom.

The awesome descend after His death on the Cross took place in Hades in order for Christ to fulfill ~all of His obligations~ including the sermon to the souls that never heard it in Hades. He took a body of a man also having a man’s soul in order for the body (mind) and soul (heart) both to be cured. He made his self-known and taught as a soul when in Hades enabling His Self after His Second Coming to rule as Lord of Justice for ALL. His prophets of the Old Testament were there before His descent teaching ~to repent~ as always!
In order for overall justice to prevail, the destruction of the devil who had the power over death was not to take place in a violent way supported by divine supremacy, but by the type fairness that should characterize a Creator God (God Logos) who was to rule after His Second Coming as a Fair and Loving Father to all of His all creations equally including demons! (Ephesians 4: 6) “One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all». His victory upon the devil was to be a victory over SIN by the man part in the God-man Lord Jesus who was also bound (for all fairness) by the consequences of the propateric sin.

After His resurrection and ascension to His Father, He becomes the “firstborn from the dead”; (spiritually dead) that in all things he might have the pre-eminence”. Lord Jesus became the New Adam (godman by nature) and became the “head of His Body Church “enabling those baptized and receiving the Holy Spirit within TO BE REDEEMED FROM ALL SIN (only God can forgive sins) and become a MEMBER OF HIS BODY! [Α Colossians 1:18] “He is the head of his body, the Church; He is the source of the body’s life” How could Christians become members of His Divine Body (part take with God Logos if Lord Jesus died and resurrected with sins?

Satan had no longer the authority upon death on a New Creation of God (Saints) for having the Holy Spirit within in. [Galatians 6:15] “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature”

After the creation of His Church, the devil is allowed to make His presence known the moment of death in order to present God the various SINS of the diseased hoping to keep the soul after the Toll Houses Trials. His name Satan also means the accuser. All those not Baptised are driven straight to Hades till his Second Coming. Without the therapy of the Church (the cure from sin beginning with Baptism), life after death will meet the same consequences as before the coming of Christ where there was no hope no salvation! [Exodus 33:20] “And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live”.

The guardian angel of someone Baptised is begotten by Baptism and will defend God’s new Adam by telling the time and date a sin was confessed all through the Toll Houses in Paradise. In [John 20:23] we read “Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained”.

Baptism redeems ALL SINS and this becomes possible by taking the Holy Sacrament of Baptism. Confession (to confess one’s sins) is known by the Holy Fathers as “the Second Baptism” because it also redeems sins and helps to deliver a soul pure from sin enabling it this way the return to the presence of Creator God. [Mathew5:8] “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God”.

Through Confession and the participation of the Divine Life of the Church, a person can pass way sinless hoping to the return of the presence of His Creator God.

In [2 Timothy 2:5] we are informed about how we need to strive during our entire lifetimes after Baptism to achieve Salvation! “And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully”.
In (Luke 17:21) we are informed of  how those who become worthy are crowned! “No one will say, “Look here it is”! Or, “There it is!” because the Kingdom of God is within you”.

Who is Lord Jesus?

God bless
